的 University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is located in the liberated, northern Pakistani state of Jammu and Kashmir with the main campus being centered in the district of Muzaffarabad, about a 3 hour drive from Islamabad. 的 main AJKU campus in Mozaffarabad is split into two parts by the River Neelum, the City Campus and Chella Campus. 的 Chella Campus is located near the river bank while the City Campus is closer to the business center of the city. 的 remaining 2 campuses of AJKU are located in the Neelum and Kotli districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In addition to the university’s partnership with San José State University to develop a world class center for Applied Linguistcs, the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir offers Undergraduate, Graduate and Ph.D degrees in a variety of disciplines including Economics, Art and Design, Law, English, Biotechnology, Botany, Anesthesia and Critical Care 科学s and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation 科学s.
